WELCOME TO STOLENSTUFF- REUNITED.COM

This website was established four years ago when Private Investigators, Jack Doyle and Robbie Graham set out to find a video tape that was stolen from the car of one of Robbie’s relatives. The video tape was full of precious memories with recordings of Robbie’s family parties, get-togethers, trips out and valuable footage of his dying brother Ernie. The tape was being returned to Robbie’s sister and was in a sports bag in a cousin’s car. The cousin returned to his car to find the sports bag and video tape stolen.

Jack and Robbie knew that the thief had hoped to find something more inside the sports bag other than a sweaty t-shirt, trainers and video tape. As you can imagine the loss of this tape was devastating to the family. Jack believed that the thief would ‘just dump’ the bag and its stuff as it was of no value to him whatsoever. So an appeal was put out on the street to the local car and opportunist thieves – explaining the way the sports bag went missing and why it desperately needed returning. A couple of days went by then Jack and Robbie received a phone call telling them to look for a tesco’s bag near Kirkby Railway Station – they did, and the bag was there with the tape inside.

This episode got Jack and Robbie thinking about other people’s stolen, missing or lost belongings, especially sentimental things and how they might be able to help them too. This is how they came up with the rough idea of a website. They ran the idea passed a close friend who had internet experience and she thought of the name ‘StolenStuff-Reunited’.

Jack and Robbie have successfully been running Crown Private Investigations for over five years now from their office in Aughton, Lancashire.
